- I painted this quite a while ago but i wanted to work on it a little more. We have had a busy spring and summer and now things will hopefully settle down a little. This painting was done when I was taking a figure painting class in Houston. Since then we have moved to Midland, Tx. I am still trying to get things situated and settled and just now I am able to get back to painting. I have missed painting so it feels great to get back into the groove. I have a few more paintings I need to post and I am also painting a pet portrait for a client now. I stumbled upon a great new gallery here in Midland Tx called Artizen Outlet, so that may be a good inspiration for me to paint.
